What is Social Design?

What is social design? Hmmm...Social design is everywhere we look. For me, my thought process of social design is design with an approach or intention of creating a positive social change or vision, technologically, innovative designs that engage social interaction. Weather its improving a product design to change its utility and effectiveness or to help solve a social problem. There are so many resources the possibilities are endless.
